Yuzuru Kuroshima is the grandmaster of „Transcendent Dogeza“, an art developed from the traditional Japanese way of apologizing. No matter what mistake you have made, Yuzuru’s method will solve all problems. Soon even top diplomats seek his advice. Director Nobuo MIZUTA and comedy ace Sadao ABE team up once more in this festival of absurdities, taking a shot at Japanese idiosyncracies.

Director biography
Nobuo MIZUTA was born in Hiroshima prefecture in 1958. He started his career with NTV, where he worked on a number of TV dramas. He has established himself in Japanese cinema, and is especially known for his comedies based on scripts written by enfant terrible Kankuro KUDO.
