The horses of Fukushima play an important role in an annual festival which honours their contribution to mankind. They almost died in the tsunami, suffered from radiation exposure and were shut away for weeks, nearly starving to death. Yoju MATSUBAYSHI followed them after the catastrophe of 2011.
