2013年にカンヌ映画祭上映され、本映画祭でも上映される「そして父になる」の監督、是枝裕和氏の作品について日本映画の専門家であるクラウディア・ベルトレによる講演。

Hirokazu KOREEDA is one of the most successful Japanese filmmakers and the most important contemporary purveyor of the quintessential Japanese genre, the family drama. His latest film LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON won the 2013 Special Jury Prize in Cannes and is featured in the NIPPON CONNECTION program (see page 20). Claudia Bertolé (author of “Splendidi riflessi di ciò che ci manca. Il cinema di Koreeda Hirokazu”), one of the worldwide leading experts on KOREEDA, will introduce the director’s work, analyze some of his major themes and contextualize KOREEDA’s films within the larger fabric of contemporary Japanese cinema.
