The tea ceremony, a special form of Japanese hospitality, has been brought to Japan by a Buddhist abbot. Later, tea master Sen no Rikyu further developed this art, enriching it with spiritual and philosophical elements and thereby creating a unique way of life. Sachiko SHIROYA, tea master from IORI Teezeremonie Kulturhaus, introduces the art and tradition of the way of the tea. Also, you can enjoy Japanese sweets and traditionally prepared green tea.
