You can't go to a Japanese Festival without a colourful summer kimono! In Japan, the kimono had gained a bit of an old-fashioned image after 1945, but during the last few years has celebrated a spectacular revival. The workshop will give a short introduction to the history of the kimono and its meaning today. Willing participants can also try one on themselves! For that purpose, please wear light, tight clothes.
