After finishing college, ambitionless Tamako moves in with her father again. When he starts dating a teacher, Tamako makes a small effort to regain her dignity. Laconic minimalism, great timing and two fantastic actors add up to make this a perfect masterpiece.

Director biography
Nobuhiro YAMASHITA, born in Aichi in 1976, started his career at legendary Planet Studyo +1 in Osaka. His debut feature film HAZY LIFE (NC ‘00) won the Off-Theatre Prize at Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Many others of his films have been shown at international film festivals. His commercial breakthrough came with the successful comedy LINDA LINDA LINDA (NC ‘08).
