She has played in more than 20 countries all over the world, and is now coming to Frankfurt: Koto player Karin NAKAGAWA captivates audiences with relaxing tunes from her traditional string instrument, accompanied by individual singing. The Tokyo University of Arts graduate has played one of the rare 25-string Kotos since she was twelve years old. Today, she combines traditional sounds with contemporary music in her unique performances. During the festival, she will also offer a workshop.
