After her mother died in a car accident, Haruna was adopted by an old farmer in a rural mountain village where she grew up, leading a self-sustaining life. As a teenager she looks after him, and it seems time stands still until civilization suddenly breaks into their closed world. This poetic and visually stunning film draws the spectator into the sanctum of nature.
