On the small island Minami-Daito, school education ends after junior high. Thus, all teenagers leave for secondary education. For Yuna this means much more than simply the next step towards adulthood. In a picturesque setting, this film deals with the clash of tradition and modernity without settling for easy answers.

Director biography
Born in Osaka in 1979, Yasuhiro YOSHIDA entered Namba Creator Factory, where he studied under director Kazuhiro IZUTSU. After several years as an assistant director, he made his debut in 2007 with KITOKITO!. He also successfully works as a script writer (2010 THE HERO SHOW / NC ‘11).
