Open the stage for kamishibai - Japanese paper theater! In the old days, traveling merchants crossed the country on their bicycles, selling candy to the children. They also had with them a wooden case, which they could open to present pictures and accompany them with stories. Yumi Olbrich from the Japanisches Kulturzentrum in Frankfurt will be at the festival with an original kamishibai stage and make classical Japanese fairytales come to life.
